I thought this one was interesting, so I figured I’d share it. Two of the crew from the rescue ship are shown in this video…The first one seems to be the “bad guy”, and the other one, maybe not so bad.
It has now been over 7 months since we’ve seen a fresh episode of Lost, and we still have more than a month to go before the return of Lost with season 4. I have to say, I’m quite disappointed. I’m curious to know just how many Lost fans were lost(no pun intended) due to this lack of concern over viewer wishes. Maybe I’m overgeneralizing this a bit…When I say viewer wishes, I mean the wishes of the viewers that I have come into contact with.
Above this, I think that placing Lost in the same time slot as one of TV’s highest ranking shows is a big mistake. Not to mention how disappointing it is to us Grey’s fans to have to record Grey’s Anatomy and watch it at a later time. How many fans will we lose to other shows?
Well, I’d like to hear what everyone else thinks. Is it just me, or does this read like a big mistake to you too?
The writers and creative staff of Lost enjoy their job, not just crafting one of the most fascinating narratives ever to appear on TV, but playing with us, the viewers and fans of the show. I don’t mean to say, as some believe, that they toy with us, merely adding weirdness to the scripts for its own sake and fabricating puzzles and mysteries that will never be answered, that they themselves don’t even know the answers to. No, in fact, part of my thesis in these articles is that the writers DO know what they are constructing, that they already knew before the show had even begun. They knew from the start what the Island is, its strange powers, its bizarre history, its unusual inhabitants. And as we are beginning to see with these recent episodes, our journey will not be in vain – we will, like John Locke, find what we are looking for. But along the way, those who are taking us on this trip enjoy the game, playing with us, surprising us, keeping us guessing. Read the rest of this entry »
Lost, as it stands, is my favorite pastime, along with building websites. So it only makes sense that I take the 2 things that I love the most (other than my wife and children) and build a Lost website. I have big plans for this site, but I am going to start off slow. The Official Lost Forum was my first step, and it off to a slow start, but I’m optimistic that things will be picking up before too much longer. I’ve added some interesting modifications to the Official Lost Forums to help enhance it’s features. There is a feature that allows all of the members of the Official Lost Forum to have and maintain their own personal Lost blog, which is viewable in the members profiles. There is also a Lost Links page, which is a page dedicated to websites that are dedicated to Lost. Feel free to suggest a link there, if the site is a good Lost site, it will be approved. I will be adding some of my own links as well.
Soon to come will be a members upload area, a place where Official Lost Forums members can upload and display their favorite images. Look for this feature over the next few days.
The ability to embed videos into posts is also coming soon!
There is a lot of work that goes into building a successful website. Adding content continuously, maintaining and updating, research and reporting, house cleaning, all of these take time, and I am working alone at this, so please be patient with me, I will have everything put together and running smoothly before too much longer.
